Woke up today after attending a talk by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche (Tibetan Sound Healing) and sensed once again that it’s individual transformation that has to happen before we can transform our government. Once we the people become aware of our fear, anger, greed, and other emotions that cloud us, then we will have the space to open our hearts, and put our understanding into practice. Lets work for things like yoga, music, and art in the schools, social emotional focus in pre-school, healing for our veterans, workplace equity and wellness, and work towards policies like Bhutan’s focus on Gross National Happiness.

"Engaging and practical, humorous and evidence-based, prescriptive but not preachy, authoritative yet never stuffy, Is That Me Yelling? quickly rises to the top of the many parenting books I've ever read. Rona Renner provides thoughtful and achievable solutions. If you're a parent who has ever yelled at your kid and wished you hadn't, this book is for you."
