This show is the fourth of a six-part series called Your Teen Matters: A Series for Navigating the Middle and High School Years

Teenagers struggle with homework assignments, test taking, and appropriate classroom behavior for many reasons. A certain percentage of teens will be diagnosed with a neurobiological disorder or a learning disability. When teens have ADHD they have to work hard to complete tasks and focus on their goals. Many students with ADHD also have other learning disabilities, which adds to classroom challenges. Co-hosts Beth Samuelson, MA, founder of Student Organizational Services, and Nurse Rona, and guests discuss how to help teens with learning and attention issues achieve success.

Dr. Dale Jacknow, MD.
Ryan Riggins, a high school student with ADHD.
