Previous Workshop: “Was That Me Yelling?” How to enjoy your kids more!

  • October 3rd from 6:30-8:30PM at Rudramandir, 830 Bancroft Way, Berkeley 94710. Register, $25 per person, $40 per family. Offered by the Institute for the Advancement of Psychotherapy.

Yelling is a common form of discipline and can be caused by being stressed, tired, or hungry. Often feelings such as frustration, anger, fear, or loneliness, can also trigger yelling, as well as a “poor fit” between your temperament and your child’s. Many parents report that they just don’t know what to do when their children misbehave, especially when a child ignores requests. We’ll talk about how to come up with a plan and discuss the things that trigger yelling.
